The President of our Saturday concert series is Martin Sturfält, an eminent young Swedish concert pianist. Martin has performed annually at St. Peter's for the past four years and we are delighted that he has agreed to take on this advisory role. A link to his website can be found at the foot of this page. Martin has recently released a CD of piano music by Wilhelm Stenhammar on the Hyperion label. Saturday morning audiences will be familiar with some of the works on this disc as Martin has performed these at St. Peter's. For further details or to order a copy, click on the following link where you can also listen to excerpts of this excellent CD.

'Sturfält plays all this music with powerful feeling and understanding, and great spontaneity - as at a live recital - and the recording is very real indeed. This is a disc well worth exploring' (Gramophone).
